This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, subscription cancellations, renewals, and other payment-related matters are handled for purchases made through iCrush.
iCrush is operated by iCrush LLC.
By purchasing a subscription, digital feature, credit, or other paid service through iCrush, you agree to this Refund and Cancellation Policy, our Terms of Service, and any additional terms presented at the time of purchase.
Nothing in this policy limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer protection rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
Subscription Renewals
2. Automatic Renewal
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, iCrush subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each applicable billing period until canceled.
For example:
- A monthly subscription generally renews each month.
- An annual subscription generally renews each year.
You authorize the applicable payment provider to charge your selected payment method for each renewal unless you cancel your subscription before the renewal is processed.
3. Renewal Pricing
Your subscription will renew at the price disclosed to you at the time of purchase or at a subsequently disclosed price permitted under applicable law and platform requirements.
If a price change requires advance notice or consent under applicable law or the rules of the payment platform through which you subscribed, that notice or consent will be provided as required.
Canceling a Subscription
4. You May Cancel at Any Time
You may cancel your iCrush Premium subscription at any time.
Cancellation prevents future renewals. It does not normally reverse a charge that has already been processed.
After cancellation, you will generally continue to have access to your paid subscription benefits through the end of the billing period for which you have already paid, unless otherwise required by law or the applicable payment platform.
Deleting your iCrush account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.
You should cancel your subscription through the same platform or payment provider through which you purchased it.
Purchases Through Apple
5. Apple App Store Purchases
If you purchase an iCrush subscription or other digital product through Apple's App Store, the transaction is processed by Apple and is subject to Apple's applicable payment and refund policies.
iCrush generally cannot directly issue refunds for purchases processed by Apple.
Refund requests for Apple purchases must be submitted to Apple through Apple's applicable refund process.
Apple determines whether a refund will be approved.
Canceling your iCrush account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed through Apple. You must also manage or cancel the subscription through your Apple account.
Purchases Through Google Play
6. Google Play Purchases
If you purchase an iCrush subscription or other digital product through Google Play, the transaction may be subject to Google's billing, cancellation, and refund policies.
Where Google controls the refund process, you may be required to request your refund directly through Google Play.
Google may determine whether a refund is eligible under its policies.
Canceling or deleting your iCrush account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed through Google Play. You should also manage or cancel the subscription through your Google Play account.
Purchases Made Directly Through iCrush
7. Web and Direct Purchases
If you purchase a subscription directly through the iCrush website or web application, the following refund rules generally apply.
Initial Subscription Purchase
For a first-time direct subscription purchase, you may contact iCrush within 7 days of the initial purchase to request a refund.
Approval is not automatic.
When reviewing the request, we may consider whether:
- The purchase was accidental.
- The account substantially used Premium features.
- Premium benefits were consumed.
- Digital benefits or credits included with the subscription were used.
- A refund is required by applicable law.
- There is evidence of fraud, abuse, or refund manipulation.
Where approved, iCrush may issue a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances.
Subscription Renewals
Subscription renewal payments are generally non-refundable once processed, except where:
- Required by applicable law.
- The same renewal was charged more than once.
- The payment resulted from a verified billing error.
- The transaction was unauthorized.
- iCrush determines that exceptional circumstances justify a refund.
You are responsible for canceling your subscription before the renewal date if you do not want it to renew.
Digital Goods Credits and Candies
8. Consumable Digital Items
iCrush may offer digital items, credits, Candies, boosts, features, or other consumable digital products.
Unless otherwise required by law, purchases of consumable digital items are generally final once:
- The digital item has been delivered.
- The item has been used or partially used.
- The related benefit has been redeemed.
- The item has been transferred or applied to an account.
Unused digital purchases may be considered for a refund where appropriate, particularly in cases involving accidental duplicate purchases or technical errors.
If the purchase was processed through Apple or Google Play, the refund may need to be requested through that platform.
9. Subscription Benefits That Include Digital Items
A Premium subscription may include recurring digital benefits, such as monthly Candies or similar credits.
Canceling the subscription does not create a separate cash value for:
- Unused subscription benefits.
- Unused Premium features.
- Unused Candies.
- Unused discovery opportunities.
- Unused matching features.
- Remaining time during a billing period.
Unless required by law, unused subscription benefits are not redeemable for cash.
When Refunds May Be Granted
10. Duplicate Charges
If you are charged more than once for the same transaction because of a billing error, contact us.
Once the duplicate payment is verified, we may refund the duplicate charge.
12. Technical Errors
We may provide a refund, credit, or other remedy if a technical error caused:
- An incorrect charge.
- A duplicate charge.
- A purchase to be completed without the purchased benefit being provided.
- Another material billing error attributable to iCrush.
We may first attempt to correct the technical problem before issuing a refund.
13. Extended Service Outages
Temporary service interruptions, maintenance, bugs, feature changes, or individual technical problems do not automatically qualify for refunds.
If iCrush experiences a significant service failure that materially prevents access to paid services for an extended period, we may provide an account credit, extension, partial refund, or other remedy at our discretion where permitted by law.
Situations That Generally Do Not Qualify for Refunds
14. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Unless required by applicable law, refunds will generally not be issued because:
- You changed your mind after substantially using Premium.
- You forgot to cancel before your subscription renewed.
- You did not use your subscription.
- You did not find a match.
- You did not receive a particular number of matches.
- Another user did not respond to you.
- A relationship or interaction did not meet your expectations.
- You no longer want to use dating services.
- You deleted the iCrush application without canceling your subscription.
- You deleted your iCrush account without canceling a third-party subscription.
- You were dissatisfied with another user's behavior.
- You failed to use included benefits before the billing period ended.
- You purchased the wrong subscription and substantially used it.
- You violated iCrush policies and your account was restricted or terminated.
iCrush does not guarantee matches, dates, relationships, responses, compatibility, or any particular outcome from using the service.
Suspended and Terminated Accounts
15. Policy Violations
iCrush may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our:
- Terms of Service.
- Acceptable Use Policy.
- Community Guidelines.
- Safety requirements.
- Other applicable policies.
Unless required by law, suspension or termination for policy violations does not automatically entitle the user to a refund.
This is particularly applicable to accounts terminated for serious misconduct, including:
- Fraud or scams.
- Harassment.
- Threats.
- Impersonation.
- Child sexual exploitation.
- Human trafficking.
- Non-consensual sexual content.
- Sexual violence.
- Illegal activities.
- Attempts to circumvent account enforcement.
Promotions and Discounts
17. Promotional Purchases
Subscriptions purchased using:
- Promotional pricing.
- Coupons.
- Discount codes.
- Introductory offers.
- Promotional credits.
- Special campaigns.
remain subject to this Refund and Cancellation Policy unless the promotion specifically states otherwise.
The value of a promotional discount generally cannot be redeemed for cash.
18. Free Trials
If iCrush offers a free or discounted trial, the terms of that offer will be displayed before enrollment.
Unless otherwise stated, a trial may automatically convert into a paid subscription when the trial period ends.
To avoid being charged, you must cancel before the trial converts to a paid subscription.
Charges incurred after a properly disclosed trial converts into a paid subscription are subject to this Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Refund Processing
19. How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method.
The time required for a refund to appear depends on:
- Your bank.
- Card issuer.
- Payment processor.
- App store.
- Payment method.
iCrush cannot control how quickly a financial institution posts an approved refund.
20. Partial Refunds
Where permitted by law, iCrush may issue a partial rather than full refund when appropriate.
This may occur where:
- A paid service was already substantially used.
- Part of a subscription period was completed.
- Some included digital benefits were consumed.
- Only part of a charge was incorrect.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
21. Contact Us Before Filing a Chargeback
If you believe a charge is incorrect, we encourage you to contact iCrush first so we can investigate.
For direct purchases, contact:
Please include enough information for us to identify the transaction.
22. Fraudulent Chargebacks
A chargeback should not be used to obtain a refund for a legitimate purchase that does not otherwise qualify for one.
iCrush may investigate disputed transactions and provide relevant transaction records to:
- Payment processors.
- Card networks.
- Banks.
- Financial institutions.
Where permitted, accounts associated with fraudulent payment disputes, chargeback abuse, or repeated payment fraud may be suspended or terminated.
How to Request a Refund
23. Direct iCrush Purchases
For a purchase made directly through iCrush, submit your request to:
Use the subject line:
REFUND REQUEST
Please include:
- The email address associated with your iCrush account.
- Your iCrush username or user ID, if available.
- Date of purchase.
- Amount charged.
- Type of purchase.
- Reason for requesting a refund.
- Transaction or receipt information, if available.
Do not send your full credit card number, bank password, security code, or other sensitive financial credentials.
We may request additional information needed to verify the transaction.
24. Apple or Google Purchases
If your purchase was made through Apple or Google Play, your receipt should identify the applicable billing provider.
Where the app store controls the transaction, refund requests should be submitted using that platform's refund process.
iCrush may not have the ability to approve or issue those refunds directly.
Cancellation vs. Refund
25. They Are Different
Canceling a subscription and requesting a refund are separate actions.
Cancellation prevents future subscription renewals.
Refund means returning some or all of a payment that has already been processed.
Canceling a subscription does not automatically refund previous charges.
Similarly, requesting a refund does not necessarily cancel future renewals.
You should make sure the subscription itself is canceled if you do not want future charges.
Consumer Rights
26. Applicable Law
Certain states, countries, provinces, or jurisdictions provide consumers with mandatory cancellation or refund rights.
If applicable law gives you rights that are more favorable than this policy, those legal rights will apply.
Nothing in this Refund and Cancellation Policy is intended to waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
Changes to Pricing or Features
Changes to This Policy
28. Policy Updates
iCrush may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy periodically to reflect:
- Changes to our services.
- Changes to payment providers.
- New subscription options.
- Changes in applicable law.
- Changes to app store requirements.
- Changes to our billing practices.
The updated policy will be posted on the iCrush website with a revised Last Updated date.
