- sexual orientation;
- information concerning your sex life;
- precise geolocation;
- private communications;
- biometric information when processed for identification;
- account credentials;
- certain identity information; and
- other information classified as sensitive by applicable law.
We use sensitive information primarily to provide features you request, facilitate matching and communication, protect users, verify accounts, prevent fraud, enforce our rules, and comply with law.
We do not use sensitive personal information to discriminate against users unlawfully.
Where applicable law requires explicit consent to process information concerning sexual orientation, sex life, biometric information, or other specially protected information, we will request that consent.
5. How We Use Information
We may use information collected through iCrush to:
Provide and Operate the Services
We use information to create and maintain accounts, display profiles, provide discovery and matching, enable messaging, operate feeds or chatrooms, process subscriptions, provide premium features, and maintain other iCrush functionality.
Personalize Your Experience
We may use profile information, preferences, location, interactions, and usage activity to rank profiles, personalize discovery results, recommend potential matches, suggest content, and tailor the Services.
Verify Users and Prevent Fraud
We may use account, device, photo, video, telephone, location, and behavioral information to identify bots, scams, impersonation, duplicate accounts, unauthorized access, or suspicious activity.
Promote Safety
We use information to detect and respond to harassment, threats, exploitation, spam, fraud, hate speech, non-consensual content, underage activity, and other violations of our rules.
Moderate Content
We may use human reviewers and automated tools to identify potentially prohibited content or behavior.
Communicate With You

Where permitted, we may also send marketing communications. You can unsubscribe from promotional email communications using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in those communications.

We use transaction and subscription information to provide paid features, confirm payment status, administer subscriptions, process refunds, prevent payment fraud, and maintain financial records.
Analyze and Improve iCrush
We may analyze how users interact with iCrush to troubleshoot problems, improve features, evaluate product performance, develop new functionality, and improve matching, safety, and usability.
Protect Our Legal Rights
We may use information to enforce our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, agreements, and policies; establish or defend legal claims; respond to lawful requests; and protect iCrush, our users, and others.
6. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Systems
iCrush may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, algorithms, rules-based systems, and other automated technologies.
These systems may assist with:
- recommending potential matches;
- ranking profiles;
- personalizing discovery;
- detecting spam, scams, or fraudulent accounts;
- identifying potentially harmful or prohibited content;
- reviewing verification information;
- identifying unusual account activity;
- improving product features; and
- assisting our moderation or support teams.
Automated recommendations may influence which profiles or content you see, but they do not guarantee compatibility, safety, authenticity, or relationship outcomes.
Where third-party AI or machine-learning providers process personal information on our behalf, we treat those providers as service providers or processors as appropriate and require them to handle information consistently with applicable privacy and security obligations.
We will not knowingly provide sensitive personal information to a third-party AI provider for that provider's independent advertising purposes.
If we materially change how private communications, photographs, verification information, or other sensitive information are used to train general-purpose artificial intelligence systems, we will provide additional disclosure or consent where required by law.
8. Sale of Personal Information and Targeted Advertising
iCrush does not sell your personal information for money.
iCrush does not sell information about your sexual orientation, dating preferences, private messages, verification information, or precise location.
iCrush does not use sensitive personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If our practices change in a manner that constitutes a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable privacy law, we will provide the notices and opt-out mechanisms required by law.
Where legally required, iCrush recognizes applicable browser or device-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, for activities to which those signals legally apply.
10. Your Profile Visibility and Privacy Choices
Information you add to your dating profile is generally intended to be viewed by other eligible users unless the applicable feature indicates otherwise.
iCrush may provide privacy controls that allow you to manage aspects of your visibility, including features such as hiding certain profile information, controlling discovery, limiting location information, using private albums, or enabling other privacy settings.
The availability of particular controls may depend on your subscription level, operating system, geographic location, and current version of the Services.
Privacy controls do not prevent people who can see your information from taking screenshots, recording their screen, copying information, or sharing information outside iCrush.
Do not share information with another user that you would not want that person to retain.
11. Blocking and Reporting
Blocking another user generally prevents or limits that user's ability to interact with you through iCrush.
Reporting a user may provide relevant information to iCrush's moderation team for investigation.
For safety reasons, we may retain information about blocks, reports, warnings, suspensions, and banned accounts after the underlying account is deleted when reasonably necessary to prevent repeat abuse or fraud and where permitted by law.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining safety and security, satisfying legal requirements, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and enforcing our agreements.
In general:
Account information is retained while your account remains active.
Profile information and user-generated content are retained while your account remains active or until you delete the information, subject to technical, safety, and legal limitations.
Messages and shared content may remain available to recipients or in records reasonably required for safety investigations, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
Verification information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to complete verification, prevent fraud, maintain evidence of verification, or comply with applicable law.
Payment and transaction records may be retained for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, chargeback, and legal requirements.
Safety and enforcement records may be retained after account deletion when necessary to prevent users who committed serious violations from immediately returning, identify repeated fraud or abuse, respond to legal claims, or protect users.
Backups may retain information temporarily after deletion until those backups are overwritten through our normal backup cycle.
Account Deletion Retention Target
iCrush intends to delete or de-identify ordinary account information within 30 days after a valid account-deletion request, with residual copies potentially remaining in encrypted or protected backups for up to 90 days, unless longer retention is reasonably necessary or legally required.
When information is retained after account deletion, access will be limited to the purposes for which retention is necessary.
We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably be associated with you.
13. Account Deletion
You may request permanent deletion of your iCrush account.
In the Mobile App
Go to:
Profile → Settings → Delete account
and follow the instructions.
Through the Website
You may also request account deletion at:
or contact: support@icrush.gay
Deleting an account is different from temporarily deactivating or hiding your profile.
When you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify information associated with the account except information we are permitted or required to retain for legal, financial, fraud-prevention, safety, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Deleting your iCrush account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription purchased through Apple, Google, or another third-party billing provider.
If you purchased a subscription through an app store, you may need to cancel the subscription separately through your Apple or Google account.
If you purchased directly from iCrush through the web, you can manage or cancel the subscription through the applicable iCrush subscription-management process. For refund and cancellation details, see our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
